Call for Proposals:
Myanmar has multiple formal and informal justice systems and actors, often with overlapping claims to legitimacy. At community level there are local, traditional, and informal actors who provide justice to most people. The programme works closely with civil society organisations to ensure that civil society programming and legal awareness are provided in ways that are not only context appropriate but also principled, so that they do not cause harm to communities or undermine their access to justice. MyJustice works with civil society organisations to design context appropriate interventions in a participatory manner, always keeping in mind how those solutions impact and support the most vulnerable people. The programme design also encourages and expects MyJustice and its partners to periodically monitor implementation, reflect upon results, and make changes to the design, if required, in response to changes in the context or the understanding of the context.
