MyJustice supports Justice Centres in Yangon, Mon, Shan, Bago, Mandalay, Kayin, and Naypyitaw, which provide legal advice and representation in criminal matters for the poor and vulnerable, help raise public understanding of their legal rights and obligations. Justice Centres have evolved substantially since their inception in 2013, growing from two offices in Yangon and Mawlamyaing to twelve offices across the country, from providing services to a few hundred clients in the first years to providing thousands of people with legal aid in 2018. As Justice Centres reach more people in more townships across the country, the reputation of Justice Centres also continues to strengthen and improve amongst communities and government stakeholders alike.
As part of MyJustice’s commitment to supporting the Justice Centres’ development into sustainable locally-led organisations, MyJustice invites a proposal to design and deliver a program of dedicated organisational leadership and management workshops and coaching to the Justice Centres.
