Call for Proposal_Evaluation of the MyJustice Programme

MyJustice is seeking a supplier for the services related to the evulation of the MyJustice programme. 

The supplier is expected to to assess the impact and effectiveness of the MyJustice programme, during January-December 2024, across key areas, including online communication strategies, capacity-building initiatives, and local dispute resolution mechanisms.

 

RA1: Social Media Campaign Effectiveness

Evaluate the impact of social media campaigns on public legal awareness, focusing on improvements in message recall, awareness of individual rights, and willingness to act on key legal messages.

 

RA2: Capacity Building and Resilience of Legal Service Providers

Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired by legal service providers, including both staff and pro bono lawyers, with a focus on the practical application of these skills in delivering legal services. Assess their readiness and confidence to act as trainers capable of conducting multiplier training. Additionally, examine the organizational resilience of two legal aid centers, particularly their adaptability to operational challenges and the effectiveness, value, and relevance of their ongoing legal aid services.

 

RA3: Effectiveness of Community Justice Mechanisms

Examine the knowledge improvements among community justice actors and evaluate the effectiveness of local justice resolution groups in addressing disputes. Additionally, assess the level of community trust in these mechanisms and the sustainability of local justice initiatives. 

 

For detailed guidance on the specific evaluation questions that the proposals should address, please refer to the Terms of Reference (ToR) included in Annex 4. The questions cover aspects such as the effectiveness of social media campaigns, capacity building among legal service providers, and community justice mechanisms.

 

Eligibility for this proposal is open to all suppliers that can demonstrate a proven track record of relevant experience and expertise in conducting impact accessments. Advantage will be given to suppliers with a successful history of managing projects specifically tailored for the Myanmar community and society. This qualification requirement aims to ensure that the selected supplier possesses the expertise and understanding necessary to effectively address the unique needs and dynamics of the local context.
