Consultancy for Supporting MyJustice Political Economy Analysis

The British Council has been implementing the European Union (EU) funded MyJustice Programme in Myanmar since August 2015. MyJustice is a very successful access to justice delivering interventions in six Regions/States and across 64 townships in Myanmar, in cooperation with 47 local and international partners. The implementation of the first phase of MyJustice came to an end on 31 December 2019.

 

The European Union Delegation in Yangon, in Myanmar has entrusted the implementation of its follow-up programme, Deepening Access to Justice in Myanmar (MyJustice II) Programme (ACA/2019/041-444) to the British Council. This consultancy will support activities under MyJustice II programme, which has an implementation period of 60 months and an overall objective to: Improve access to justice for women, the poor and people living in vulnerable situations, in Myanmar. The inception phase of MyJustice II is set to commence on 1 January 2020.

 

MyJustice is seeking a consultant to support the programme in better understanding the context and the operating environment with a view to designing and implementing a context-appropriate programme on access to justice in Myanmar. The consultant will primarily support MyJustice and its PEA lead in reviewing and updating its political economy analysis including a gender and conflict analysis.
